Terms of Use

These terms of use apply to the Sporttihubi.fi service (the “Service”). By registering for the Service, posting a club listing, or using the Service, you accept these terms and agree to comply with them.
1. Service provider

2. Service content
Sporttihubi.fi is an online service designed to connect people looking for hobbies with parties offering hobbies, courses, and events. In the Service, users can: - Search and browse hobbies and events - Publish their own club or event listings - Contact the parties listed in the Service
3. User responsibilities
- The user is responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of the information they provide. - The user agrees to use the Service in accordance with the law and good practice. - Listings must not contain illegal, offensive, inappropriate, or misleading content. - The Service may not be used for commercial advertising other than through the features provided by the Service.
4. User-uploaded images and materials
- The user is responsible for all material they add to the Service (e.g., text, images, videos). - The user warrants that they have all necessary rights to use and publish the images and other content they upload. - The user grants the Service Provider a non-exclusive, free right to use the content in the Service and its marketing (e.g., the Service homepage, newsletters, social media). - The Service Provider has the right to remove images and other content that is inappropriate, illegal, or infringes the rights of third parties. - The Service Provider is not responsible for the accuracy of user-uploaded images or other material or for any infringements that may result.
5. Service provider’s responsibilities and rights
- The Service Provider maintains and develops the Service as it deems best. - The Service Provider has the right to remove or modify content that violates these terms or applicable law. - The Service Provider is not responsible for the accuracy, correctness, or timeliness of user-submitted content. - The Service is provided “as is,” and the Service Provider does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
6. Data protection and personal data
The processing of personal data complies with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Finnish legislation. More information on the processing of personal data can be found in the Service’s Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual property rights
The content, design, and software of the Service are the property of the Service Provider or its partners.
8. Terms of use changes
The Service Provider has the right to change these terms of use. New terms will be announced in the Service, and use of the Service after their publication will be deemed acceptance of the terms.
9. Limitation of liability
The Service Provider is not liable for direct or indirect damages resulting from the use of the Service, inability to use the Service, or user listings.
10. Governing law and dispute resolution
These terms are governed by Finnish law. Any disputes will be resolved primarily through negotiation and secondarily in the district court of the Service Provider’s domicile.
